So I’m sure a lot of you know this already, but I /love/ Pokémon and my side hobby is collection Pokémon cards and merch. It’s probably thee most nostalgic thing for me in my life. So many amazing memories are tied to Pokémon and thinking about them instantly make me feel like a little kid again.
Today I made a massive purchase and one I likely will never forget. I bought 2 of the 3 original booster packs for the Base Set Pokémon cards. The original set that started it all. I still can’t believe it and honestly, now that it’s starting to settle in, I’m getting teary eyed.
For the new week, I think I want to share memories here about my past and love for Pokémon. Maybe share some pieces from my collection. I think it would be a fun way to celebrate the biggest chapter in my collection so far.
